This photograph captures a quiet autumn morning at Valley View in Yosemite. The air was cool and still, and a thin layer of mist hovered over the Merced River as the first light touched the granite cliffs. The water became a perfect mirror, reflecting the sky, the trees, and the towering walls of the valley with almost unreal clarity.
