This is Yosemite’s Upper Fall, captured in autumn when the water flows with real power, so different from the dry summer months when the cliffs stand empty. On this day, the water streamed down like a white curtain from the sky, and beneath it a single golden tree stood glowing in the shadows.
The scene felt almost celestial, as if the falls were pouring light from above, blessing the tree with life. The contrast between the dark forest and the brilliant yellow leaves created a natural spotlight, drawing all attention to this living burst of color.
Autumn brings a sense of renewal to Yosemite. The return of water, the strength of the falls, and the vivid colors of the forest all come together in a moment that feels both powerful and serene.
